It was a brutally hot and humid afternoon. slick track conditions resulted and a heavy thunder storm ended the evening abruptly on un-lucky lap 13 of the second twin 30.

It was a night that will not soon be forgotten as we lost Limited Supermodified driver Tony White. Tony was stricken with an apparrent heart attack while competing in that division's feature race.
