John Casey

Sadly, I got to know John Casey late in his long life, really only in the last seven years. This accomplished racer (Stock Cars, Three-Quarter Midget Cars and Supermodifieds) was a very successful businessman, who always gave back to the sport that he loved so much. Thanks to Josh Aylsworth and Paul Faleski for being such great friends to John, especially in his final years. John was a huge help to me in my Buffalo (N.Y.) Civic Stadium research and in my Ron Lux Memorial efforts with the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) at Ransomville, N.Y. Whenever I said 'goodbye' to John, I always followed it up with 'and know that I love you.' I still do, kiddo!
