John David Halstead Jr., 44, of Fulton had worked at U.P.S. Freight in East Syracuse for 17 years.
Dave was an avid race car driver and auto mechanic and enjoyed auto racing, hunting and fishing.
His greatest joy in life was his children.

Posted on July 16, 2013 by Pinner: Passing along a photo that Don sent along of this wicked cool slot car that was built over this past winter. With the passing of Dave Halstead still close to our heart, it's nice of Don to pass this along so we can see another great memory of Dave....and one that I'm sure means alot to his kids also! Dave put alot of time over this past winter creating this Shampine rear engine slot car for his kids to race and Don mentioned it was wicked fast! Pretty cool stuff right there! Thanks for sharing Don. |
