Owner of Lowe Construction, he built and remodeled many homes in the Akron area. An accomplished pilot and Super Modified Car Champion from 1953-1978, he was inducted into the Lorain Speedway Hall of Fame in 2005. His deepest love was his family and he was surrounded by them throughout his life. . . . submitted by SuperDave One of the early legends of Modified and SuperModified racing, Ernie ranked up there with the best.
