Jolt'n Joe Orso - and the Scream'n Six. This was my favorite on the Fulton/Brewerton circuit when I was a kid. The car was #96 and the scream'n Six referred to the six banger under the hood that beat all the flat-heads back then. Owner Andy Susco sent along this image and said... "it was a very fast car. We won a lot of races with this car. In 1964, at Fulton speedway, we won every race that we finished, heats, semis, and features." . . . written by Jake and Andy |

Maybe the first ex-indy roadster to run at Oswego, Billy Vess drove it in 1962. It was an ex-Tony Bettenhausen, 1956 Kurtis Kraft Roadster. Joe Orso drove it for owner Andy Susco in '69 and '70 |
